Ok this thread will be a work in progress for a while until I get everyones questions answered.

Getting Registered
First thing you will need to do is get registered. Registration requires you to be able to receive an authentication email. this means you will get an auto generated email with a link for you to click on to activate your account. If you don't receive an email within a few minutes, check your spam box. I know some email servers like Yahoo mail etc tend to have a pretty tight spam filter and sometimes emails from sites like this one get caught in it

Albums
Once you get registered and can log in you can start uploading pictures to your personal album or to the existing albums. Right now there is a General rally album and an adult album and a private album that you wont see unless you are part of that private group. the adult album is also invisible until you are added to the adult group. In each of the main albums there are sub albums. you can add pictures to an existing album that is appropriate for your pictures. If you have been to an event/party/get together etc. that hasn't had an album created for it please create an album for your event and put your pictures in it. For instance if you go to the fall Sparks rally and there isn't a album made called "Fall Sparks rally", create one by going into the Bike rallies album and clicking on the add album link on the left side. You must click on the album you want to add a sub album to. Then add your pictures to the album you create. From then on people can add their fall sparks rally pictures to it. This will help keep some organization to the pictures. Any sub albums you make will have to be made under the main albums IE: Bike rally photos, Adult gallery, LSPD, User Gallery.

Your personal album
When you log in and are ready to upload some pictures in your personal album, you will see at the top of the page on the right side will be "Your Account Your Album Logout" You can click on the Your album and you will see a blank space and a link that say upload pictures. Click that link and there will be a place to upload pictures into your album. You can create sub albums in your personal album for different things, vacation albums, family pictures, whatever. You can organize it however you want. Please just make sure you do not upload nudity to your personal album

Uploading
There are several ways to upload from your computer. If you want to upload a few shots you can use the web interface by just clicking the add item link on the left side. If you want to upload quite a few pictures at one time, you will click on the add items link and it will open a page with multiple tabs along the top. The first tab says "From Web Browser" where you can upload a few pictures at once or you can click on the last tab that says "Gallery Remote" on the far right. This will open a section with a link to the Gallery Remote program. You Download the program and install it. From there you will have to set the program up to log into your account on the gallery. Basically you will click on the "add gallery url button", Click on "URL" in the left side then click "new". It will pop up a box to fil out your info. In the alias box I put OKR, you can use any familiar name you want to call it. Then put in your user name then your password then click ok.

Next click on the connect button and it should open up a box that shows the available gallery albums. Click the little plus sign to open up the list of albums. Click on the album you want to upload to, add your photos on the other side from your computer by clicking add photos button. The after you have the ones you want to upload in the list, click upload.

If you don't want to DL the program and use that, you can click the "Upload Applet" to the left of the "Gallery Remote" tab and use that. It works pretty good but you have to have Java installed on your computer. Most people do already, its a pretty common necessity.This way takes a bit longer the first time but once you have it set up, its a breeze from then on.

I will try to keep this message updated with answers to the questions that im sure i will get on here. I am adding a couple of screen shots to show what the things im talking about look like.

Make sure you are coming into the site from the front page and not just coming straight to the forums. type http://www.oklahomariders.com in your browser and you should see a menu on the left all blue. You can also right click on that link and choose open in new browser. Then save that address in your favorites.

You are already registered. You should be able to log in. I had it set before where you didn't get a email it just created the account without verification. I have that changed now where people will need to verify the account by clicking a link in an email.

I can get into the gallery but not to the adult section?What do I need to to get in?

the member gallery is gone? oh and there's an adult section??

BBO I dont think you are coming into the site and seeing everything. Type in www.oklahiomariders.com If you are coming straight to the forums, you are missing the menu to be able to get tho the new photo albums

i'm doin it right, but when i go to photo's it only show rally photos

o thats cause you arent registered or logged in then. You have to register for the albums separate.

I cannot get into the LSPD pics. I know that I logged on and I remember getting a confirmation. I don't know if I've forgotten a step but I cannot see the pics Chaz posted.

I don't remember ever getting the confirmation. That may be why I can't see them either..

I will have to work on this guys to see how to fix it

I got you guys added to LSPD photo permissions. Rosco you should have Admin permissions in the photo album section now.

I want to see the pics to atleast i can live the sparks rallys thru you guys when the man wont let me off

Metric, I still can't find the LSPD album. Is there some settings on my end that need to be changed??
